Last night, bystanders found an injured cyclist on the street in Hilversum. The man was lying at the intersection of Loosdrechtseweg and Bodemanstraat. There was no trace of the other cyclist involved in the accident. The injured man was taken to hospital. The other cyclist has reported to the police.
“There was an injured man in the street,” says a police spokesman. “He may have collided with another cyclist.”
An air ambulance came to the intersection. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. It is unknown how he is doing at the moment.
The police are investigating the accident. “It is not yet clear what exactly happened,” says the spokesman. “The other cyclist was no longer present.”
