Today you can drive through cow herds at various farms in the province. For the third time, LTO Noord is organizing the Light Route, intended to show farm life in a positive light.
“As farmers, we enjoy doing this and informing people about what happens behind our stable doors,” says Colinda van Dijk from the organization at a farm in Beilen. “We have a very wide range of agricultural activities. Dairy farming, beef farming, arable farming, flower bulb growing, horse breeding, chicken farming, those types of companies are participating in this tour tonight.”
