Thorgan Hazard could leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer and join Newcastle United. In the event of a change to the English first division club, the BVB star apparently even has a significant salary increase.
The farewell rumors about Thorgan Hazard continue to gain momentum: after the “Daily Telegraph” reported on Newcastle United’s alleged interest a few days ago, the “picture“-Newspaper now after.
BVB would allegedly let the winger move to the Premier League for a transfer fee of around 15 million euros – the amount that the northern Englishmen are said to have offered for the Belgian, according to the “Daily Telegraph”.
Hazard waves “significantly more” money
According to “Bild” information, Hazard would “earn significantly more than in Dortmund” at Newcastle United. After all, the Magpies are swimming in money after being taken over by a Saudi Arabian consortium.
At BVB, Hazard should collect around seven million euros per season and thus be one of the top earners in the squad. However, the 29-year-old has not played a major role in the Westphalians lately.
In the past season, Hazard repeatedly struggled with injuries at Borussia and therefore only played 22 games in the Bundesliga. The offensive man scored three goals and one template.
Does Hazard dare to try again at BVB?
In February, the now dismissed BVB coach Marco Rose even temporarily removed him from the squad for sporting reasons.
