BVB star reports from the hospital

It was one of the many injury shocks that Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund had to digest again this season: Jamie Bynoe-Gittens had to sit out again this season with a shoulder injury. Now the BVB youngster reported from the hospital.

As the second-placed Bundesliga player announced on social media on Friday, the 18-year-old has now “successfully” undergone shoulder surgery.

In the first half of the season, Bynoe-Gittens was out for months from September with a serious injury to his left shoulder. This time the young Englishman was caught in the right shoulder. After the problems that arose in March, attempts were initially made to get the pain under control conservatively and without surgery.

After two short appearances in the league against Union Berlin (2:1) and VfB Stuttgart (3:3), it quickly became clear: Bynoe-Gittens had to go under the knife again.

This surgical intervention has now taken place, as Borussia Dortmund reported.

BVB youngster is aiming for a comeback in the summer

The season is over for the winger. The BVB player himself was recently confident that he would be able to return to the pitch full of vigor in the summer.

How long Bynoe-Gittens will be out from now on cannot be predicted at this time. The black and yellow only reported that the teenager “will not be available in the near future”.

In the current Bundesliga season, the native of London has played 15 games for Westphalia. He scored three goals for his colors, the last of them in February in Dortmund’s 2-0 away win at Werder Bremen.

In the last game in Stuttgart, he came on as a substitute for Donyell Malen from the 69th minute. At the time he was substituted on, BVB was still 2-0 up.
