BVB secures progress in the Youth League against PSG

Victory against decimated PSG

After FC Bayern, RB Leipzig and Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund is also in the playoff round of the UEFA Youth League. BVB secured second place and thus progress on the last matchday of the group phase with a 2-0 (1-0) win against PSG. Samuel Bamba (12th minute) and Vincenzo Onofrietti (77th) scored the goals against the Parisians, who were outnumbered from the 41st minute. Ibrahim Mbaye was shown the red card.

Leipzig had already secured second place, so the 0-0 draw against BSC Young Boys on Wednesday no longer had any impact. Around five months after his €15 million move from PSG, El Chadaille Bitshiabu (18) celebrated his competitive debut for the Saxons.
