Sverre Nypan just turned 17 in December 2023, was already part of the extended staff at the Norwegian first division club Rosenberg BK and is apparently on the shopping list of the majority of European football celebrities. FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keeping an eye on the youngster.
FC Bayern and BVB are said to be among a number of well-known clubs that are closely following the development of Sverre Nypan from Rosenborg BK. This is reported by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur.
Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal FC and Manchester United are also among the clubs that are keeping an eye on Nypan.
In November 2022, Sverre Nypan made his professional debut for Rosenborg BK at the age of 15 years, ten months and 18 days, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history. Since then, 29 more competitive games (5 goals/4 assists) have been added. The Norwegian U19 international mostly played in central midfield, but also helped out successfully in the center of the attack.
So it’s no wonder that the youngster arouses desire. The consulting industry is apparently also aware of this and so Rafaela Pimenta, long-time confidante and successor to Mino Raiola, who died in 2022, has already secured the opportunity to represent Nypan.
Erling Haaland’s career planning as a role model
In an interview with “Nettavisen” Pimenta already explained why she is so convinced of her client. “He’s showing what he can do and we don’t want to put too many expectations on him. On the other hand, we appreciate what he’s doing because it’s spectacular,” said the powerful agent. “That’s exactly what we want.”
A quick change is unlikely to happen; Pimenta is said to have discussed this with Nypan’s family. “She said you have to think long-term. Sverre should be a teenager for as long as possible. I should promise her that he spends enough time with his friends outside of Rosenborg professionals, that he does normal things and that he does the same in football If he can do two or three subjects at school. Erling [Haaland; d. Red.] only left Norway when he was 18. I think it’s a good idea to be patient here,” Nypan’s father Arne Nypan told TV2.
By the way, it was the same Erling Haaland who chose BVB as the first club from one of the top 5 leagues – a pointer?
