Jadon Sancho is returning to Borussia Dortmund and thus to the Bundesliga. For record national player Lothar Matthäus, this BVB transfer makes perfect sense.
“If Sancho delivers his performance again, the BVB team could be shaken up. And if the numbers are right, Borussia Dortmund is not taking any big financial risks,” said Matthäus, assessing the winter deal on “Sky”.
Sancho will play on loan at BVB until the end of the season, after which he will return to his parent club Manchester United. A purchase option was not agreed. According to reports, the runner-up has to transfer between three and four million euros to England.
