According to German and English media reports, Borussia Dortmund is working intensively on bringing Jadon Sancho back.

According to them, the offensive player will be loaned from Manchester United until the end of the season and will at least partially take part in Dortmund’s training camp (Wednesday to Tuesday) in Marbella.

“Sky” and “Bild” initially reported, but there was initially no confirmation from the clubs. Accordingly, the financial volume of the planned deal should amount to three million euros including salary and loan fee. According to English media reports, other clubs are also interested in the offensive player, including West Ham United from the Premier League.

Hardly any appearances this season

Sancho had already played at BVB from 2017 to 2021 and impressed with strong performances, which was followed by a move to Manchester for 85 million euros. However, he didn’t get going there and the Englishman is currently suspended as a result of a dispute with team manager Erik ten Hag. Sancho had only played the first three Premier League games this season.

Possible to sell to another club

According to “Bild”, the deal could only fall through if a club wanted to buy the 23-year-old Sancho directly. In this case, Manchester would refuse a loan. Sancho scored 50 goals in 137 competitive games for BVB, the highlight of which was winning the DFB Cup in May 2021. He scored two goals in the 4-1 final against RB Leipzig.
