Former DFB captain Michael Ballack does not see challengers Borussia Dortmund on the same level as champions Bayern Munich. “I would be careful to see Dortmund on an equal footing with Bayern, despite their good signings. They are not,” said the 2002 vice world champion in a DAZN interview.
Ballack continues: “Just because they don’t bring that with them in terms of aspirations. Because of the last few years, it’s normal for Bayern Munich to become champions.” FC Bayern is again a “big favorite” for him, emphasized the 45-year-old.
