BVB is apparently negotiating with PSG-Juwel

With the departure of Jude Bellingham, the midfield center at Borussia Dortmund is still a construction site. Now BVB is apparently serious about a possible newcomer.

As reported by “RMC Sport” from France, the Westphalians have now started negotiations with Warren Zaire-Emery from Paris Saint-Germain. It is said that the Bundesliga runners-up are in exchange with all parties to explore a possible deal.

As early as mid-June, the TV station had linked BVB to the 17-year-old eight from the Parisian talent factory. At that time, “RMC Sport” also named Manchester City and Liverpool FC as interested parties.

Meanwhile, Arsenal FC is said to be involved in the fight for Zaire-Emery. According to the report, BVB finally wants to get things moving and force a decision.

Not long ago, the French junior international was considered unsaleable at PSG. However, there was speculation that a signing of Uruguay sweeper Manuel Ugarte could ensure Zaire-Emery made it onto the market after all.

BVB has Bellingham millions up its sleeve

The French champions completed the Ugarte transfer on Friday. PSG is said to put around 60 million euros on the table for the six.

It is currently unclear how much potential customers like BVB would have to pay for Zaire-Emery. However, due to the 103 million euro move from Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid, the coffers of the German runner-up are full to bursting.

Nevertheless, the “Bild” recently judged that Zaire-Emery could become too expensive for BVB if the competitors from England actually get serious.

Zaire-Emery made his breakthrough with the pros this season. In his first season he made 26 appearances in Ligue 1 and three games in the Champions League. He is currently under contract in Paris until June 2025.
