The poker for top scorer Sasa Kalajdzic from VfB Stuttgart is coming to a head: Allegedly Borussia Dortmund and not FC Bayern currently have the best cards for a commitment from the 24-year-old Austrian.
Munich’s “tz” reports this good news for BVB. Accordingly, Kalajdzic see better chances of a regular place in Dortmund.
Background: While Robert Lewandowski’s short-term future at FC Bayern is still unclear, BVB will definitely lose its number one attack in Erling Haaland. The 21-year-old Norwegian is drawn to Manchester City for the coming season.
Lewandowski also wants to leave FC Bayern in the upcoming transfer period.

Kalajdzic’s stay at VfB Stuttgart seems out of the question. “It would be outstanding if we could keep him as a player and as a guy. In my opinion, that’s not very likely,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat recently.
Kalajdzic’s strong performances with the Swabians, his contract expiring in 2023 and the correspondingly moderate transfer fee of 20 to 25 million euros make the center forward extremely attractive for numerous clubs.
