Dortmund (dpa) – Dortmund has to plan in preparation for the next game against Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday (5.30 p.m.) without its defenders Raphael Guerreiro and Mats Hummels.
As the club announced, Guerreiro was the first to test positive for Corona and was absent from team training. In the evening, the club announced that Hummels had also contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus. The PCR test “unfortunately proved to be positive,” wrote BVB in the short message service Twitter. Hummels had previously gone into isolation due to cold symptoms.
The game originally scheduled for last Sunday by Borussia Dortmund at FSV Mainz had been postponed to March 16 (6:30 p.m.) due to a corona outbreak in Mainz.
