Borussia Dortmund are plagued by major personnel concerns before the “Week of Truth”. BVB could be missing several regulars against FC Sevilla in the Champions League and in the Bundesliga cracker against FC Bayern.
As the “Ruhr Nachrichten” reports, Mats Hummels, Marius Wolf, Gregor Kobel and Marco Reus are at least questionable for the game in Seville.
They all did not train with the team on Monday. It is currently still completely open which BVB professionals could board the plane to Spain on Tuesday morning, they say.
Hummels and Kobel were spotted briefly at the training ground in Dortmund-Brackel, but then went back home.
The BVB defense chief has been plagued by a cold since Friday. First-choice goalkeeper Kobel initially tore a muscle fiber and then suffered from back problems.
Wolf and Reus, on the other hand, were completely absent on Monday. The all-rounder still has a “remaining hope” of a comeback against Sevilla “RN”. For Captain Reus, the away trip in the premier class is still too early.
BVB against FC Bayern with or without Marco Reus?
A decision on a possible use of the 33-year-old against FC Bayern on Saturday should only be made in the course of the week.
It is also still questionable how things will continue with Giovanni Reyna. The American, who has been plagued by injuries in recent months, suffered a strain during the international trip.

As the report goes on to say, the trip to Seville could include one or the other shaky candidate.
BVB then wants to decide on the spot and until shortly before kick-off on Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. whether or not to use the person concerned.
