BVB: decision promptly? Bellingham deadline leaked

Borussia Dortmund will apparently have clarity about Jude Bellingham’s personnel in the near future. The BVB professional, who has been courted by numerous top clubs, is said to have set himself a deadline for his future decision.

This was reported by the online edition of the British radio station “Talksport”. According to this, Bellingham will decide after the international break at the end of March whether he will remain loyal to BVB or, despite his contract running until 2025, aim for a change next summer.

In this case, Dortmunders would be faced with an exorbitant transfer fee. Bellingham’s contract does not contain a release clause. 120 to 150 million euros would probably change hands for the 19-year-old Englishman – a possible record sale for BVB.

According to “Talksport”, poker around Bellingham is still open. Despite their bumpy season, Liverpool FC still have a chance of signing – even if they don’t qualify for the Champions League, they say.

Most recently, however, the hottest lead in the transfer saga that has been going on for months led to Spain to Real Madrid. Bellingham’s father Mark is said to have met with royal representatives both in Madrid and around the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Chelsea in London.

BVB? Liverpool FC? Real Madrid? Tug of war over Jude Bellingham

Alongside Liverpool and Real, Manchester City is considered the hottest candidate in the Bellingham race. Manchester United are also said to be interested.

Financially, the Premier League clubs are likely to be ahead of Real. However, the Spanish record champions are still the club with the most appeal worldwide.

BVB hasn’t given up hope of Bellingham staying either. “50:50” is the chance that the top performer will wear the black and yellow jersey in the coming season, reported “Bild” recently, citing club circles.

In order to persuade Bellingham to stay, BVB is said to have offered him a record annual salary of 15 million euros. It is also conceivable that he will sign a new working paper that contains an opt-out clause.
