Good news for BVB: Shortly before the start of the new Bundesliga season, Dortmund extended and expanded the contract with two sponsors.
As Borussia Dortmund announced over the past two days, the club will extend its cooperation with coffee manufacturer “Melitta” and food producer “Rügenwalder Mühle”.
BVB Marketing Director Carsten Cramer explained the partnership with “Melitta”, which has been extended by three years: “For us, Melitta is not only the ideal catering partner, who has shown how the supply of complex large sports facilities can be designed in a customer-friendly and effective manner. The lively partnership runs on an equal footing and brings us both further. We are therefore very pleased to continue the fruitful cooperation with Melitta.”
The deal with “Rügenwalder Mühle” will meanwhile raise the partnership between the club and the group to “a new level”, according to the press release published by the black and yellow on Wednesday. The aim of BVB is to bring “conscious nutrition into the middle of society”.
“Rügenwalder Mühle is a competent partner for us when it comes to a conscious diet – whether meat, vegetarian or vegan,” enthused Cramer about the premium partner, which offers an alternative with its meatless products and defies the meat counters of this world offers. “We are pleased that we can share these ambitions together as part of the partnership in the future,” explained the Dortmund Marketing Manager.
Just a few days before the deals that had now been concluded with “Melitta” and “Rügenwalder Mühle”, BVB had concluded another new sponsorship contract. There the club announced its cooperation with “Workday”, a provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources.
