Borussia Dortmund strengthens the second team with defensive talent Felix Irorere. The 20-year-old comes on a free transfer from Karlsruher SC, where his contract is expiring. Irorere had spent the last two years with KSC and played his only two games with the professional team in the preseason.
“We’re really looking forward to Felix, who will add a new facet to our game simply because of his height (1.95 metres; ed.)”, commented Ingo Preuss, sporting director of the Dortmund U23s, on the transfer. Irorere Stand is now one of seven central defenders in Dortmund’s U23 squad for the coming season.
