BVB announces: Haaland change to Manchester City almost fixed

Dortmund (dpa) – Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City have agreed in principle to transfer star striker Erling Haaland after this season.

The Bundesliga soccer club and the English Premier League club said that contractual details still had to be agreed. After months of speculation about his future and only a short time after the death of his advisor Mino Raiola, the top scorer decided to move to the top English club with former Bayern coach Pep Guardiola.

All parties have agreed in principle on a transfer, the listed BVB announced in an ad hoc announcement. Contractual details are still to be agreed and documented. The 21-year-old Norwegian is moving to the Premier League for a fixed fee of 75 million euros.

Adeyemi should come for Haaland

The change had been in the offing for weeks and months, but had been delayed by Raiola’s serious illness. The consultant died on April 30 at the age of 54 after a short, serious illness. Dortmund’s license player boss Sebastian Kehl had already announced at the weekend that a decision in the Haaland cause was imminent.

National striker Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg is set to move to Revier as a replacement for the Norwegian. The future Dortmund sports director Kehl had also announced a short-term decision with this personnel. As reported by Sky, the 20-year-old is said to have been released from his current club Red Bull Salzburg for the medical check and the contract signing and traveled to Dortmund. The transfer was previously only considered a formality. The fee for Adeyemi should be between 30 and 40 million euros.
