BVB and Bayer Leverkusen on Fulham youngsters

Fábio Carvalho is one of the biggest promises for English second division side Fulham FC. As leaders of the table, the Cottagers are currently on course for promotion to the top flight – a farewell to the 19-year-old should be almost certain. Apparently BVB is also advertising for the youngster.

Is another promising talent from the island coming to the Bundesliga? As Brazilian sports journalist Bruno Andrade via Twitter can be announced, this is now a not improbable scenario.

Accordingly, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, two clubs from Germany are interested in the offensive player, who are already known in Europe for their good work with young players. Thus, BVB and the Werkself join Premier League representative Liverpool, who have superficially targeted Carvalho.

Clubs like Leeds United, Southampton and West Ham United are also said to be lining up, recently reported “Football Insider“.

The contract of the Portugal-born English U-national player, which expires in the summer, should be particularly attractive for interested parties. The youngster has reportedly already decided to retire from his training club in the summer. Fulham will therefore not receive a fee for the U19 international after the season.

Carvalho, who has played for Fulham since he was 12, has impressed with eight goals in 17 second division games this season – four in his last three games alone. In the most recent 3-2 win at Stoke City, he scored a more than successful comeback from recovering from a foot injury.

According to the “Mirror”, the favorite for the contract is Liverpool FC, who had already released another promising player from Fulham in Harvey Elliott in 2019.
