‘But Talpa criticizes opinion about Johnny’

It’s a bitter pill for SBS 6: Today Inside is the channel’s major viewing success, but it is also the only program on television that has turned fiercely against the boss’s son.

Today Inside remains a great success on SBS 6. Despite football, for example, 696 thousand people (15% market share) watched the talk show of Wilfred Genee, Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp yesterday. This attracted more viewers than, for example, Op1 (630 thousand) and Jinek (542 thousand).

scoop on top

Angela de Jong thinks that at Talpa, however, she is very disappointed that the men of VI have turned against Johnny de Mol. They think that the son of their boss John de Mol is indeed guilty of the abuse of Shima Kaes. Johnny himself denies that: “With two fingers in the air.”

It was Angela who managed to elicit this spirited opinion from the gentlemen last week. She tells today in the AD Media podcast: “The night before I had already been surprised about what Johan said about the Johnny de Mol case, so I thought: I’m going to ask about it again, and then he added a little extra.”

‘Talpa not happy’

Angela thinks John de Mol and his Talpa bobos will not be happy with this negative publicity for Johnny. “I don’t think they were very happy with that at Talpa, I guess.”

There will be a staff party at Talpa this Friday. Özcan Akyol already made a comment about this at the VI table yesterday: “It will be fun with you.”

However, Johan does not go: “I will never go there.”

unexpected gold

Prime time had an unexpected winner yesterday, namely the NPO 2 series Dwars door de Lage Landen, in which Arnout Hauben and his friends walk through the Netherlands. More than 1 million people (20%) watched it. After that, Nieuwsuur had 570 thousand viewers (12%).

The other most watched prime-time titles were RTL 4’s Married At First Sight (867 thousand and 17%), SBS 6′ Familie Gillis (789 thousand and 15%), NPO 1’s Opsporing Verzocht (765 thousand and 15%) and RTL 7’s Real Madrid – Chelsea (739 thousand and 17%).

Viewing figures

Programs that (also) did not reach the top fifteen viewing figures include Jinek (542 thousand), Khalid & Sophie (530 thousand), Hart van Nederland (439 thousand), HLF8 (329 thousand) and Shownieuws (321 thousand).
