It’s busy on the road this morning. Accidents and a busy morning rush hour cause several traffic jams throughout the province. Road users on the A1, A7, A8 and A9 must take delays into account.
On the A1, road users must take into account approximately twenty minutes of extra travel time near Hilversum due to an accident. An accident also caused traffic jams and half an hour of extra travel time on the A8 near Zaanstad, towards Amsterdam. Two lanes are closed here. However, the ANWB has announced that the road has now been reopened.
The accident on the A8 also causes congestion on the connecting A7. Between Hoorn and Zaanstad, road users must take into account almost an hour and a half of delays.
There is currently around twenty kilometers of traffic jams on the A9 towards Amstelveen due to the busy morning rush hour. This causes a delay of almost half an hour.
