Business parks in Southwest Drenthe are popular: ‘Good connection’

Back to Southwest Drenthe, Olijslager has been building a new warehouse and office for about 2.5 years in Hoogeveen. The company had been in Emmen since 1954, but decided to move. There was no room in Meppel and Zwolle is too expensive. So Hoogeveen came into the picture.

“We serve the whole of the Northern Netherlands, but we are also increasingly moving to the south,” explains owner Robert van Büseck. “Then you should think of Zwolle, Apeldoorn and Almelo. If you are in Emmen you can enter the Netherlands from two sides, the rest is Germany. You are centrally located in Hoogeveen, it just saves us a lot of travel kilometers.”
