Bushido appears in court in a 990 euro hoodie

Bushido (45, real name: Anis Mohamed Ferchichi) flew in from Dubai especially for this process! Again it’s against his opponent Arafat Abou-Chaker. The point of contention this time: seven houses in Rüdersdorf (Märkisch-Oderland) in Brandenburg.

Abou-Chaker and Bushido founded a company (GbR) together in 2010 and bought around 90 apartments. The regional court in Frankfurt/Oder awarded the houses to the rapper in November 2020. But Abou-Chaker appealed. Now – five years after the two fell out – it is still controversial: Who owns the properties worth seven to eight million euros?

On Wednesday both appeared in person at the Higher Regional Court in Brandenburg an der Havel. The clan boss in gray sweatpants, white tennis socks and a beige hoodie for 109.90 euros, the rapper in the neon yellow Balenciaga hoodie for a mere 990 euros.

The topic on this day of the trial: In 2012, Arafat is said to have put around 574,000 euros into his own pocket and in 2018 around 180,000 euros from the company.

The two partners deposited the 574,000 euros as security at the bank when they purchased the residential complex in Rüdersdorf. After the deal is completed, they should be split 50/50. But all the money ended up with Abou-Chaker. According to the clan boss, it was a “personal agreement” because Bushido had problems with the tax office.

The rapper is said to have gotten his share back later – but Bushido doesn’t want to know anything about it. The additional 180,000 euros, black money from live performances and merchandising products from Bushido, are said to have flowed into construction work on the clan villa in Kleinmachnow.

No verdict was reached on Wednesday. The court will decide on October 25th whether witnesses should be heard – such as the tax advisor of the two business partners or Abou-Chaker’s brother Rommel Abou-Chaker (45).
