Frutti Extra Bursaspor became the champion this year, as it was last year, in the Frutti Extra Cup, which was held for the second time this year.
Defeating Galatasaray Nef 74-64 in the final in the Frutti Extra Cup, organized for the second time this year by Frutti Extra Bursasaspor, Frutti Extra Bursaspor became the champion for the second consecutive year. Bursaspor President Sezer Sezgin, who evaluated the tournament after the match, said, “We became champions this year, as we did last year. It is a good feeling to start the season with a trophy. I hope our success will continue this year as it was last year. We will come to the places again. I congratulate those who contributed,” he said.
Ömer Kızıl, Vice Chairman of Uludağ Beverage Board of Directors, stated that they completed the tournament with four teams last season. “Our spectators enjoyed this tournament. We are organizing this tournament to set an example for basketball in Turkey. We got our own trophy, may God grant us to receive our official trophies from now on,” he said.
