At the Dokter van de Veldestraat in Hoogeveen, a car burned out just before three o’clock last night. The car was parked there.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, but the car was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In the first half of this year, cars regularly burned out in Hoogeveen. It has been quieter since May. At the end of last year, a man from Meppel was arrested for several car fires in Hoogeveen.
