Burnt-out car has been parked in the parking lot of the Nobellaan Assen flat for a month. ‘Apparently no one wants to bear the costs, nobody feels responsible’

It was quite a shock for the residents of the ‘red flat’ on Nobellaan. On March 24, a car parked there was ablaze overnight. The blaze was accompanied by a lot of heat and black smoke. A resident, who does not want to be named in the newspaper, says that the fire brigade also warned about a gas tank that was in the car and that the residents had to keep their distance. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in time before more cars or even the flat caught fire. The fire brigade indicated that we were lucky that the wind was ‘in the right direction’.
