Burkina Faso defeated Mauritania 1-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations Group D.
Burkina Faso and Mauritania faced each other in Group D of the African Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast. Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed blew the whistle for the match played at Bouake Stadium. Jayed’s assistants were Zakaria Brinsi and Arsenio Marengula. Burkina Faso won the match 1-0 with the goal scored by Bertrand Traore from the penalty spot in the 90+6th minute.
Burkina Faso will face Algeria in the second match of the group. Mauritania will face Angola.
