The town of Sampedros de Burgos has not had the start of festivities that it expected. Cristina Ayalathe new mayoress of the municipality, has not started her legislature on the right foot after winning the elections in May.

The mayoress was in charge of inaugurating the festivities by launching the rocket that began the festivities. A rocket that has not had the expected course and has headed towards the area enabled for journalists.
There are no serious injuries but there are two minor ones. The rocket has impacted on two photographers who were in the square, whom the Red Cross has had to attend to.
