Burglary plague cars at Palingbeek Ypres: “Don’t leave valuables”

A photographer from Brielen is one of the victims. The windows of her car were smashed. She lost 800 euros worth of material.

On Wednesday evening she was busy with a photo shoot at the Palingbeek, while thieves looted her car.

“Don’t leave valuables in the car”

The police confirm that there have been about ten cases in recent times. An appeal on Facebook also caused a lot of reaction.

The police are investigating the case, and again warn not to leave valuables in the car.
