Several previously unknown perpetrators broke into a savings bank in Strausberg in the Märkisch-Oderland district on Easter Monday.
According to witnesses, they are said to have left the bank with “several large bags”, as a police spokesman said on Monday evening.
The property damage is estimated to be high, but further is still unclear.
After the crime, the perpetrators fled in an unknown direction in a silver car. There were no employees in the bank at the time of the burglary, forensic scientists are investigating.
