The NH Bureau investigation program will soon return to NH. In the weekly television program, viewers are called on to help solve crime cases in the province. The program will be presented by Coen van den Braber.
Loyal viewers of NH still know Bureau NH as a weekly television program that focuses on crime cases. The public’s help is being asked to resolve these issues. By sharing security images, photos of suspects, interviews of those involved, reconstructions and witness calls, unsolved cases receive renewed attention. The program is created together with the police and the Public Prosecution Service.
Presenter Coen van den Braber believes that the program can contribute to solving crime cases in North Holland. “This is already happening nationally at Opsporing Verzocht, but at Bureau NH we will focus entirely on cases from the province. Think of a street robbery or a robbery of a store,” says Van den Braber. “We portray the abuses we raise in a human and personal way.”
Chatter tricks
The first episode of Bureau NH is about chatter tricks, something that mainly affects the elderly. “If something like this happens to you, it naturally affects the feeling of trust and safety,” says the NH presenter. “It is very nice when people can share their stories so that cases can be solved, but also to warn others about this and other forms of crime.”
The program will not only be about serious matters, Bureau NH will also include good news. “It’s not all doom and gloom, we also show issues that are solved partly thanks to the program,” says Van den Braber. “Knowing that the program can contribute to this is a hopeful thought.”
The first episode of Bureau NH can be seen from Wednesday, September 20 at 5:10 PM on the NH television channel (Ziggo 707, KPN 508), after which it will be repeated every half hour. The broadcasts and associated messages can also be viewed on the NH website and app.
