Bundesliga: VfL Bochum annoys BVB, Gosens brace for Union Berlin

Congratulations to Bochum. Although there could have been even more.
What we delivered on the first two matchdays is a bottomless cheek. With a little less luck we could even end up with 0 points. And against, with all due respect, opponents that we actually have to beat. Terzic coached himself once more today and made very bad personnel decisions. I think it’s a great symphony. He loves and burns for the club but unfortunately he is limited as a coach. How you can just see 0 progress after a complete preparation is a mystery to me.

And then to say “you have to get used to it first” with a squad that has hardly changed at all since last season is an indictment. I don’t want to paint it black, but it’s not for nothing that the general tenor here before the season was that we have to be careful not to be overtaken by other teams this season. At the moment it’s pure disillusionment and if you don’t show an extreme increase in performance very quickly, the CL places will quickly disappear.

I don’t even want to go into individual personal details. That would go beyond the scope here. But thank God Can is captain…

I could puke!

Maybe there is a football god who punishes BVB for signing Nmecha. Perhaps success shouldn’t be achieved without considering morals and ethics after all?

What.
A.
Nonsense.

First of all – I don’t share Nmecha’s religious beliefs.

On the contrary: if it were up to me, everyone (like me) would be convinced atheists, the Giordano Bruno Foundation no longer needed my support, because tomorrow there would be no more religions.
All people would think for themselves instead of letting saviors, prophets and gods impose more or less strange rules on them and, if necessary, enforce them by force of arms against those of other faiths.

BUT: We have freedom of religion in this country. That means I have to tolerate the religion of people of other faiths at least once in a while. And it doesn’t matter whether this other believer is a Muslim, Buddhist, Mormon or follower of Zoroastrianism. And it doesn’t matter HOW strange I find the rules of this religious community. As long as my rights are not infringed upon, there is no problem.

And if someone stands up and says, “Pride is a mortal sin, it’s the devil’s and you go to hell for it!”, I can easily shrug and move on.
Of course, I can also approach this person and try to use arguments to convince him that his opinion is unproven, because concepts like “hell” and “devil” are just as unproven.

On the other hand, what I CANNOT just do is declare this person a bad person because of their religion or even some kind of Pandora’s box on two legs like you did above.

I find it strange, to say the least, that I have to explain this basic rule of tolerance to a supporter of FC St. Pauli (!) of all people.

Let’s break it down.

Did Nmecha make a pretty stupid mistake by not checking WHO he agrees with beforehand, but simply liking a tweet with an opinion that reflects his (religious freedom!) opinion?
Yes, of couse.

Has he now convincingly explained how he came to agree to a tweet that equated Pride (= haughtiness), i.e. one of the seven deadly sins in Christianity, with hell, the devil etc?
Yep, from my point of view he has.

Has he stated that in the future he will be more careful and check before he does anything on the net?
Yep, he has.

So where is the problem now?

That he – from your point of view – adheres to the wrong religion?
(You seem to be good with Indian religions such as Buddhism – or do you use “karma” as a term and concept without first thinking about which religion you are talking about and promoting? oops roleyes )

By the way – if you do a little research, you will find a morally and ethically questionable fact about every single football club:

https://www.sport1.de/news/fussball/2-bundesliga/2017/02/Tasteless-placards-beim-game-fc-st-pauli-dynamo-dresden

With a simple sentence on a black and white poster, all the former residents of a big city can be mockingly shouted “I’m glad you died!” – you have to trust yourself first. close your eyes

FC St. Pauli has at least apologized for this, at best, tasteless banner (thus recognizing that mockery of bomb victims is perhaps not the best way to point out (reprehensible) historical distortion) … but the people who held it up are allowed to further into the stadium. The club will continue to accept the money from these people.
“(Financial) success regardless of morals and ethics” so?
Or is it perhaps simply the case that not every mistake should automatically result in a ban for all time? winking

(No, I’m not equating the poster and Nmecha’s like! If you read that, please read it again, thanks.)

All in all, your comment I quoted is pretty silly anyway.
at best.
In the worst case, he reveals an understanding of democracy that is still very benevolently described as “questionable”.

For league match day:

To Bochum – Dortmund has @adriano144 everything essential said, I sign like that.

Anyone who still calls Union “anti-footballers” is missing out on the next evolution in football – for many teams, the game is simply moving away from “jogo bonito” and towards an athletic event. You don’t have to like it – but when the World Cup system, man marking including Libero or “kick’n’rush” were replaced by other football approaches, not everyone liked it either…

Freiburg deservedly get three points from Bremen, who are much weaker than I expected.

Leverkusen, on the other hand, are just as strong as I feared.

All in all – if BVB isn’t careful, it will be a very close race for fourth place.
And my rock-solid Terzic “believe” crumbles a bit after the first games of the season. wrong
