Kings of Leon bring “Sex on Fire” and more to the Spandau Citadel on June 18th. Here is all the information about the gig.
The year is 2008. It’s Friday evening and you’re heading towards dusk to meet up with your gang. The weather is lukewarm, and the tangled wired headphones connect your ears to the new iPod nano. You don’t see which song comes next – but once the intro starts, you’re immediately the star of your own blockbuster. Two or three guitar strums and you immediately walk a little more upright. Which song are you talking about? It’s “Sex on Fire” by the Kings of Leon, of course. A song on an album that gave them their next breakthrough after their breakthrough.
Together with “Use Somebody,” both songs accumulate over 3.4 billion streams on Spotify alone – not including iPod nano streams. Two songs that have become long-running favorites since 2008 and that the Kings of Leon will not be able to ignore on Thursday evening, June 18, 2026, in Berlin. Because the band is performing in the capital at the Spandau Citadel. Here is an overview of all the information about the show.
Setlist
The time has come. The iPod nanos have long been a thing of the past, and anyone who was still driving when “Only By The Night” was released may have swapped the clique for a family of several people on Friday evening. But on Thursday evening, June 18, 2026, the unforgettable guitar strums will sound in Spandau – more precisely in the citadel from 7:00 p.m.
The kings are making a stop on their European tour in 2026 and are bringing a wild setlist mix with them. In addition to the classics, songs from their latest “EP #2” and the current album “Can We Please Have Fun” are also expected. A setlist from over 20 years of music means one or two songs from each album – otherwise it goes until 8 in the morning. After a “Slow Night, So Long” intro, fans can look forward to the following songs that they have played on tour so far:
- Taper Jean Girl
- Find Me
- On Call
- Super soaker
- Manhattan
- The Bucket
- Waste a moment
- Revelry
- Use Somebody
- Beautiful war
- Molly’s Chambers
- mustang
- To Space

- Pyro
- Back Down South
- lakes
- Black thumbnail

Encore:

Tickets
If you’re interested in the spectacle and haven’t gotten a ticket yet, you should either equip the DeLorean with a flux compensator or look on the secondary market – because the concert is completely sold out. As of June 16th, for example, there are still two tickets available on fanSale for €230, or you can go to Spandau and offer the arriving fans heart and kidney for a ticket. Anyone who can give themselves a pat on the back and bought a ticket in time can try to get the best possible standing room from 5 p.m. Until then, we recommend getting out your wired headphones and singing along to “Someone like yoooouuuuu” on the way to work.
Directions
If you don’t have a DeLorean at home and you use public transport, you can reach the citadel with the following lines:
Bus The journey time is approx. 30 minutes from Berlin Mitte.
If you arrive by car, you can park near the citadel. Disabled parking spaces and free bus parking spaces are located on Zitadellenweg. Bicycle parking is also available at the citadel.
Weather
In order to feel like the main character in your own film, light rain is sometimes an advantage – but it is not expected on Thursday evening. Instead, visitors can look forward to mild temperatures between 23 and 28 degrees: a summer night just like back when the iPod nano was still used.
