Women’s Bundesliga club Turbine Potsdam and coach Sofian Chahed have mutually agreed on a separation. This was announced by the fourth of the past season.
The former Bundesliga professional from Hertha BSC and Hannover 96 only extended his contract in Potsdam until June 30, 2025 at the turn of the year. As the club announced, after extensive discussions, the coach and club management have now agreed to end the cooperation. Further details about the reasons for the separation were not disclosed.
Chahed was on the touchline for Turbine women for two years. Under him, the team finished fourth in the championship twice and reached the DFB Cup final that season, where Turbine lost 4-0 to double winners VfL Wolfsburg.
