Dortmund (dpa) – The date of Erling Haaland’s comeback at Bundesliga soccer club Borussia Dortmund is still open.
“I have no idea, I don’t know yet,” said BVB coach Marco Rose after the 4-2 defeat in the first leg of the Europa League against Glasgow Rangers. “Erling took part in small parts of team training. He was out a long time, a bit of a stubborn story.”
The 21-year-old Haaland, who has been missing for three weeks due to persistent problems in the adductor area, was only in the stands on Thursday. The striker, who is said to have been courted by several top European clubs, was sorely missed on the BVB offensive. On Sunday (5.30 p.m. / DAZN) BVB plays in the Bundesliga against Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Europa League second leg in Glasgow is next Thursday.
