Bundesliga: Matchday eleven with 5 professionals from Eintracht Frankfurt

After the 14th Bundesliga matchday, the matchday team is, as expected, dominated by Eintracht Frankfurt. Including coach Dino Toppmöller, the TM community selected six “eagle bearers” as a result of the surprisingly clear 5-1 win against Bayern Munich. The most votes went to double goalscorer Junior Dina Ebimbe, who was voted for by 80 percent of users.

In addition, the voters nominated Eintracht goalscorer Omar Marmoush (74.5 percent), who scored the opening goal and contributed two assists, Hugo Larsson (45 percent) and Ansgar Knauff (34 percent), who were also successful in front of the goal, as well as Eintracht defense chief Robin Cook (27 percent). Koch narrowly beat his own defensive colleague Willian Pacho (24.5 percent).

The remaining six players are each made up of duos from three clubs. Double goalscorer Patrick Mainka (48 percent) and triple provider Jan-Niklas Beste (57 percent) from 1. FC Heidenheim received the community’s favor, as did goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky (36 percent) and Florian Wirtz (48 percent) from the undefeated league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. In addition, Niklas Stark (42.5 percent) and Marvin Ducksch (41.5 percent) were chosen for Werder Bremen in the 2-0 win against the recently strong FC Augsburg. The latter only had slightly more votes than Chris Führich (40.5 percent) from VfB Stuttgart.
