Of course, it would be a good idea to pull over Kobel now. But as a goalkeeper you are also the poorest pig. If players in front make a mistake, the ball is gone. If the goalkeeper makes a mistake, it is (usually) a goal conceded. You can excel for an entire season. Then if you make a mistake in the most important game with the most viewers, that’s what sticks with the people.

I hope for BVB that they finally part with Reus after the season. Reus is a fantastic technician, but you don’t gain anything with Reus. Reus is highly allergic to questions about mentality. But they keep coming back to him again and again and again. It is an absolute mystery to me how BVB Reus could make the captain. Reus is the born anti-leader. No one who can shake up a team and get it carried away. You have Can, Bellingham, who can do it much better?

What’s also a pity: If BVB still had any arguments to keep Bellingham for another year, then they are probably obsolete after the game. That’s not just a loss for BVB, but for the whole Bundesliga.

As I said: I hope that BVB will make a certain cut after the season and part with players like Reus, who have not played in important games for years. A Marius Wolf has just become a national player due to a lack of alternatives, but that’s not good enough in the position if you want to win something.

BVB has been distinguished in recent years by not only repeatedly identifying fantastic talent, but also being able to bring them to BVB. I hope we can do that again next season. Nobody really needs 11, 12, 13 Bayern titles in a row. Not even FC Bayern.
