Sports club behavior

Freiburg appeared courageous and lifeless, and not just in the first half. The only half-decent chance to score came when Roland Sallai (6.) Colleague Lucas Höler sent down, but the ball slipped over his instep when he tried to shoot on the right side of the penalty area.

Cross becomes a dream goal

FC Bayern clearly dominated the game and it happened as it had to, albeit by accident. Almost hit from the right wing Coman a supposed cross into the penalty area – the ball became longer and longer and flew over SC goalkeeper Noah Atubolu to the far inside post and from there bounced into the goal.

In the 19th and 22nd minutes 100 million would have been purchased Harry Kane could increase, but his shots went just wide of the goal. Shortly afterwards, the Englishman shone as a provider when he crossed to Sané, who had run through, who fired in from four meters to make it 2-0.

Sané was unlucky shortly before the half-time whistle. He fooled opponent Merlin Röhl in the penalty area and circled the ball into the far corner – but the VAR took the goal back because Sané was just offside.

Bavaria in Management mode

In the second half, Freiburg also acted far too passively, even reverently. However, Bayern had to accept the accusation of managing the result rather than finally closing the bag. Many actions lacked final determination.

However, Freiburg let Munich play and continued to appear resigned and without self-confidence. Munich Coman (68.) took measurements at the right corner of the penalty area, but put the ball on the roof of the goal. Four minutes later, the Frenchman failed with a shot from ten meters to SC-Keeper Atubolu.

Coman closes the bag

The game then plodded towards its predictable end. Freiburg simply couldn’t do it that evening, Bayern only did what was necessary to secure a safe victory and fulfill their duty. Coman finally made it 3-0 in the final phase with his goal – Philipp Lienhart had an unfortunate deflection of the shot from eight meters.
