The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.
This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs was open from June 1st to June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
Bayer Leverkusen continues to drive the long-term rejuvenation of the squad and has signed the French junior national player Axel Tape from Paris Saint-Germain. According to Wednesday, Bayer has “long-term” the defensive player, who became only 17 years old last weekend with the youngsters of the Champions League winner of French U19 champions.
“We see very great potential in Axel, his obligation to transfer is an important building block of our future-oriented squad planning,” said Leverkusen’s sports manager Simon Rolfes. The Bundesliga club did not provide precise information on the contract period.
Tape called his move to Bayer a “fantastic way to develop myself early. I am excited and highly motivated to assert myself in Leverkusen.”
Manchester City made the fourth summer transfer perfectly a few days before his opening game at the club World Cup in the USA. After the Algerian left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolverhampton) and French playmaker Rayan Cherki (Lyon), Dutch international Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan also comes to the top English club.
The 26 -year -old midfielder signed a contract for five years and is said to be the most expensive from the trio of newcomers. According to media reports, City pays a transfer of £ 46.3 million (approx. 55 million) for Reijnders. Ait Nouri and Cherki are also said to have cost more than 40 million euros, including bonuses. The English goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli also came this week.
After the departure of the Belgian Kevin de Bruyne, Reijnders should play a major role in the central midfield of coach Pep Guardiola. He had scored 15 goals in Italy last season. The Premier League describes Reijnders as a “dream” that City is “one of the largest teams in the world with the best trainer, world -class players and excellent equipment”.
After his farewell to Manchester City, the future of Kevin de Bruyne has apparently been clarified: As the transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports, the Belgian gave the Italian champion SSC Naples green light for a change. Accordingly, the 33-year-old signs a two-year contract in Italy.
De Bruyne had announced his farewell after ten years in Manchester. With the club of coach Pep Guardiola, he won the English championship and the Champions League six times. He changes free of charge.
After the burst transfer to Mainz 05, at least three other clubs from the Bundesliga want to hire the French striker Rayan Philippe von Eintracht Braunschweig. The “Bild” newspaper reports of a “three-way fight” between Hamburger SV, Werder Bremen and 1. FC Köln. “Sky” is also the 1. FC Heidenheim one of the interested parties on the 24 -year -old attacker.
