After eight years, midfielder Charles Aránguiz is leaving Bayer Leverkusen next summer for his former club SC Internacional Porto Alegre in Brazil.
The 33-year-old midfielder has signed a preliminary contract valid until June 30, 2025, the Brazilian club announced. The Chilean has played 214 competitive games for Bayer so far. Aránguiz has not played for the Rhinelanders since October due to a persistent calf injury.
