A burglar was caught in a bakery in Charlottenburg on Thursday night.

According to the police, the shopkeeper noticed an alarm in his shop on Windscheidstrasse around 1:40 a.m. and called the police. Police officers caught a 36-year-old in the bakery.

According to the police, the man apparently broke into the bakery through a delivery hatch and stowed numerous groceries in a travel bag he had brought with him.

The man was arrested.
