The rules to prevent art and heritage of national importance from disappearing from the Netherlands must be tightened up. In addition, more money must be allocated to the Museaal Aankoopfonds and some tax regulations must be adjusted so that important cultural objects can be better preserved for the Netherlands. That is stated in an opinion presented on Monday.
