This Wednesday, January 24, the first national strike against the government of Javier Milei and the announced measures of State deregulation, such as the DNU 70 and the so-called “Omnibus Law”. The march, called by the CGT and the two CTA, began at noon with a mobilization at National Congress, although there will also be protests in other corners of the country.
For her part, in her X account, the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, made a post rejecting the union measure, attaching a short video. “Working, working and working,” the Pro leader wrote on the social network and added: “Everything open. The merchants do not stop”. In the message you can see the official accompanied by various SME businessmen.
“Working, working and working. Safety and work. A lot of education, kids need education. No to unemployment,” a merchant expressed in harmony with Bullrich. In the recording, you can see the minister greeting and taking photos with various merchants and people who came to the place to receive her.
It was not the only message that the former presidential candidate of Together for Change referring to the general strike. “There is NO STOP THAT WILL STOP US. Mafia unionists, poverty managers, complicit judges and corrupt politicians, all defending their privileges, resisting the change that society decided democratically and that President @JMilei leads with determination,” the official previously published.
For his part, in statements to the media, the secretary general of the Association of State Workers (ATE), Rodolfo Aguiar, affirmed today that the strike carried out by that union will reach 95 percent compliance throughout the country and predicted that starting at noon the mobilizations will be massive. In this regard, union organizations estimate that the measure of force will be an important wake-up call to the national government.
