In the fitness and powerlifting circles, incomes vary quite a bit.
Among the familiar faces in fitness and powerlifting, last year’s top earner was an entrepreneur Jari “Bull” Mentula.
Last year, Mentula’s total income was EUR 98,111, of which EUR 85,402 was earned income. The income decreased somewhat from last year, when the former professional bodybuilder reached 120,000 euros. In past years, Mentula has received more than 300,000 in income.
A fitness athlete also made it to the top ten Sofia Tikka-Aiello (78,050), personal trainer and entrepreneur Matias Koistinen (73,956) and the winner of this year’s Finland’s strongest man competition Jarkko Mehtälä (73,589).
Last week, who won the World Championship gold in body fitness in his own height category Mira Ahola earned income last year was 55,136 euros.
At the tail end of the list of fitness and powerlifting athletes are the Black Barbarian, who returned to the competition stages this year James Nicander (1,536) and crowned the strongest man in Finland for the fifth time Mika Törrö (5,367).
