Trainer Bert Bouwer and assistant coach Wai Wong will also be the technical duo of the handball players of Aalsmeer next season. Bouwer has been the head coach of the North Hollanders since 2017.
After the 2018 national championship with Aalsmeer, Wong stopped playing handball and became Bouwer’s assistant. The men have a successful period. For example, the handball players became national champions in 2019 and 2021. In 2020 there was no national champion because of corona.
Selection remains intact
The squad for next season remains as good as intact. Nils Dekker has indicated that he will stop playing top handball. Hidde van Oorschot and Dennis Vester are added to the team. Van Oorschot comes over from Quintus and Vester van Houten. Another player will be added to the roster this week. Who that is is not yet known.
