Bugatti brings Head of Marketing on board

Bugatti has a new marketing director.

The Herford-based fashion company has appointed Verena Demme to the role of Head of Marketing, Bugatti announced on Tuesday. She will take up her new position on March 1st.

Demme is moving from the R. Brand Group to Bugatti. There, as Head of Marketing, she was responsible for the brands Baldessarini, Pierre Cardin, Pioneer Jeans, Pioneer Workwear and Otto Kern. Prior to the group’s acquisition of the former Ahlers brands, Demme served as Baldessarini’s head of marketing for almost six years. She also gained experience abroad as a junior marketing manager at the Florentine retail company Gianfranco Lotti.

At Bugatti there will be a reunion between Chief Brand Office Florian Wortmann, who previously worked as boss at Baldessarini, and Demme. The head of marketing will report directly to Wortmann in the future. Bugatti boss Julius Brinkmann is convinced that Demme is the ideal complement to Wortmann as part of the brand’s realignment, Herford says.

“It is an exciting time to become part of this dynamic company,” said Demme. “Together with Florian Wortmann and his team, I would like to develop innovative marketing strategies and help position Bugatti as a leading brand in the fashion industry.”
