Min Yoon-gi, better known as Suga from world-renowned South Korean boy band BTS, has announced his third solo project. The rapper, songwriter and producer already released two mixtapes in 2016 and 2020 under the alias Agust D. Now his debut album called D-DAY is due to be released on April 21, as the Big Hit label announced on Twitter.

The ‘BTS ARMY’, as the fans of the ‘Bangtan Boys’ call themselves, should be particularly excited about the new album, because the band is currently on a break. Actually, the seven artists wanted to use the break to devote themselves to their respective solo projects. However, Big Hit announced in October last year that the members would do their military service during their time off. This is compulsory in South Korea for men between the ages of 18 and 28 and lasts up to 21 months.
According to Korean media reports, Agust D will do his military service in 2024 in social service. In February of this year, the 30-year-old became the first member of BTS to announce his solo world tour. The ‘Agust D Tour’ 2023 includes a total of 19 concerts in the USA, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea.
