BTE appoints Eva Maria Schaffner as consultant for business administration

The Trade Association Textile Shoes Leather Goods (BTE) has appointed Eva Maria Schaffner as a consultant for business administration. In this function, the 54-year-old has been “responsible for advising fashion retail companies and especially shoe shops on technical and business issues as well as for general member support” since November 1st, the industry organization announced on Monday. In addition, she will “set up and manage the new BTE office in Berlin from January 1, 2023”.

In the course of her career, Schaffner ran her own shop, worked for the Würzburg shoe retailer Gebrüder Götz and as a management consultant. She also held various positions at the Sabu trade association and at the Lahn-Dill Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). She has “many years of professional and managerial experience in the stationary shoe trade and in the area of ​​​​association groups” as well as “pronounced knowledge of the online and mail order business,” explained the BTE.
