At the NHL booking ceremony, the late player scout and ex-player was remembered Bryan Marchmentia.

Commissioner of the NHL Gary Bettman came to the podium asking for a moment of silence for the longtime San Jose Sharks scout. His image appeared on the stage’s big screen as the crowd fell silent in honor of his memory.

Bettman was visibly a little sensitive in the situation, but soon after the silence, the Montreal audience booed the commissioner as usual.

Many teams that used their roster spots expressed their condolences to the Marchment family and the San Jose Sharks.
