Iulian Pitea was once considered a future top star in ski jumping in his Romanian homeland. At 16, he represented his country at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. In 2018, however, he said goodbye to winter sports early. A violence scandal, which the former athlete has now spoken about in detail, was partly responsible for this.
