Today, forty Flemish cities and municipalities, together with the Brussels Capital Region, are making their streets car-free for the traditional Car Free Sunday. This event is part of the European Mobility Week (16-22 September). Cars make way for numerous activities: bicycle races, soapbox races and performances.
